After this rejuvenating pause, we will wind our way to the delightful Kawartha Settlers' Village, a vibrant testament to history. Once a thriving family farm, this captivating historical site now features over 20 beautifully preserved homes and buildings, offering an intriguing insight into the lives of the pioneers who shaped the Kawarthas from 1830 to 1935.

Each edifice narrates a tale, encouraging you to delve into the rich heritage and resilient spirit of this extraordinary region. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to fully engage with the vibrant 8th annual Made in Kawartha Lakes Art Show. This Show & Sale promises an unforgettable weekend celebrating local artistry and stands as the premier market for artists and makers in the area. The culinary arts will also take centre stage, featuring food booths, a beer truck, live music, and perhaps a few delightful surprises.

Following our exploration of the Kawartha Settlers’ Village, we will return to the host hotel to relax and prepare for an exquisite dinner.

The restaurant manager has put together an amazing dinner menu from which you can order at the restaurant. They are offering 2 appetizers, a choice from 8 main courses and a dessert option with 4 offerings. As well, all tea, coffee and soft drinks are refillable.
