ROAD WARRIORS TRIP 2023                                          

To help you make a decision if joining the Road Warriors 2023 is something you would like to do, here is an outline of what is being planned. We are still making decisions on the actual driving routes and the accommodations but this will give you a sense of what is in store for you.

We will depart from Whitby on Monday September 11 and return on Tuesday September 19 – 9 days. For those of you who travel from West of Toronto, you may wish to get across the city Sunday afternoon/evening, so we will provide some hotel recommendations for you to book.

Day 1 – drive from Whitby to Gananoque, ON on paved, secondary roads

Day 2 – drive from Gananoque to Lake Placid, NY

Day 3 – scenic drive in and around the Lake Placid area

Day 4 – free day in Lake Placid

Day 5 – drive from Lake Placid to Stowe, Vermont

Day 6 – British Invasion Car Show OR a free day in Stowe

Day 7 – scenic drive in and around Stowe

Day 8 – drive from Stowe back to Gananoque, ON

Day 9 – drive from Gananoque to home

You will notice that Day 6 provides options. For those wishing to take in the car show, to display your car or merely take in the sights, you may do so. If not, the day is free to do as you please.

On day 9, you may wish to jump on the 401 to head home, but we will also plan a more relaxed return route on paved secondary roads to Whitby.

At this point in time, we would like to know how many cars/people are interested in joining the group. No firm commitments are required until you are advised of the costs of accommodations, at which point, we will provide hotel booking instructions and you can confirm attendance.
