BRASS MONKEY RUN. October 26,2025

The 2025 BRASS-MONKEY RUN in aid of the Salvation Army, TOYS FOR TOTS will be held on Sunday October 26th. The MG Car Club of Toronto absorbs all organizing expenses.

The Primary Starting point will be the Tim Horton's/Wendy's in Meadowvale North Shopping Centre, 6966 Financial Drive, L5N 8J4 just north of the 401 off of Mississauga Road. Please gather by 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. departure from the Meadowvale, Tim Horton's/Wendy's.

There will be a second starting point from the parking lot of Tim Horton's/Wendy's 100 Fifth Avenue, Orangeville, L9W 3E8. This is directly off of Hwy 10.

We expect to depart the Orangeville stop at 11:00 a.m.

The route will take us through Terra Cotta, Belfountain, Orangeville, Primrose, Creemore, Glen Huron, Craigleith and alongside Georgian Bay to our lunch stop in Thornbury.

Total distance outbound is about 160 Kms but then we rarely follow a straight line to our destination.

The return to Mississauga will take about 90 minutes mainly via Hwy 10. You will need to pre-register for this event,so we can book the appropriate space at our lunch stop.

The registration fee for this event which all goes to TOYS FOR TOTS is $20.00 per car irrespective of the number of passengers, but you can also contribute more if you wish via a link on your confirmation e-mail. For individual contributions over a $100, we can arrange for a Charitable receipt from the Georgetown Salvation Army.

Registration will be paid through the MG Car Club of Toronto website. Detailed route instructions will be given out at the start point. No refunds.

In 2024 we raised $2225.00 on behalf of TOYS FOR TOTS. Let’s see if we can beat it in 2025.
